Description

New for 2023, the Nightforce ATACR P-VPS 7-35x56mm MILSPEC is a heavy duty, precision optic virtually identical to the units deployed by the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). These limited edition riflescopes deliver the same legendary performance as their non-MILSPEC counterparts and come with an array of exclusive features. These augmentations include a scope mount designed specifically for the ATACR P-VPS 7-35x56mm as well as a laser rangefinder diving board mount. This configuration of scope, mount and laser rangefinder integration platform allows shooters to effectively detect, range and engage targets at extreme distances. All ATACR P-VPS 7-35x56mm MILSPEC units are equipped with the TReMoR3 first focal plane reticle composed of an advanced pyramid structure with extremely fine holdover increments to compensate for bullet drop and wind drift. The ATACR P-VPS 7-35x56mm MILSPEC riflescopes are finished with a tan, anodized hardcoat for maximum corrosion and weather resistance.

Like all of the optics in the ATACR family, the 7-35x56mm variation features a one-piece tube precision machined from a solid bar stock of 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy. The tube is two to three times thicker than riflescopes of a lesser quality, resulting in less overall stress, greater thermal stability, a consistent zero and a virtually impervious shield for the precision optics within. The lenses are matched and aligned by hand in a process called optical indexing to ensure the highest possible optical performance. The objective lens utilizes a multi-element design like those found in the highest quality telescopes to focus light rays more precisely for exceptional image clarity and color accuracy. Optical performance is further enhanced thanks to multi-coated ED glass that results in superb light transmission, brilliant images, and exceptional color contrast. The elevation turret on ATACR Riflescopes are equipped with Nightforce’s ZeroStop Technology to provide an instant return to zero after making adjustments in the field. After sighting in your rifle, simply set the ZeroStop to create a positive mechanical stopping point at your chosen zero point. Then, no matter how many elevation adjustments you make, turning the elevation knob down to the ZeroStop setting returns you to your original zero, completely by feel—even in total darkness or while wearing gloves. The internal mechanisms on the windage and elevation turrets are held in place by a specially designed spring that spends two weeks in a polishing tumbler before being installed in the optic to deliver perfectly smooth operation. This guarantees zero loss of integrity, zero loss of repeatability.
